I work with seed-stage startups without a platform team, scale-ups whose platform team is under water, and enterprises in regulated sectors. Paris, fully remote, French and English.

Available — Q4 2026

Day rate €600 — 900 Per day, excluding VAT. Lower end for engagements over three months, higher for short audits and incident work.

Staff augmentation

Embedded in your team

Long-term, three days a week or more. I join the rota, take on-call, own a scope and leave it documented. Six months minimum — anything shorter and I am still learning your estate.

Fixed scope

A migration, delivered

A cloud migration, an IaC rebuild, a CI/CD platform. Fixed outcome, fixed price where the scope allows it. Typically six to twelve weeks, with a written plan before anything is touched.

Most common first step

Reliability, cost & security audit

Two weeks. I read the estate, interview the team, and hand back a prioritised remediation plan with what it costs and what it returns. You can run it yourself afterwards.

Incident retainer

A number to call

A monthly retainer for teams who need senior backup on Kubernetes or cloud incidents without hiring for it. Agreed response window, capped hours, no surprise invoice.

How I work

The first two weeks

Days 1–3

Read-only access, nothing changed. Architecture, pipelines, dashboards, the last three post-mortems and the on-call log. I want to know what wakes people up.

Days 4–6

Interviews with the people who operate it, and with one or two product teams who consume it. The gap between those two accounts is usually where the work is.

Days 7–9

Measurement before opinion: SLIs where there are none, DORA metrics on the delivery pipeline, a real figure for cloud spend per environment.

Day 10

A prioritised plan: what to fix this month, this quarter, and what to deliberately leave alone. Written down, with the cost of each line.

After that, either I execute the plan with you or you take it and run. Both are fine outcomes.

What I don't do

Front-end work, data engineering, or a first Kubernetes cluster for a team of three who would be better served by a managed platform. If that is the honest answer, I will say so in the first call.
